Laughing children with braces

With plenty of patience

Children & teenagers

A healthy, beautiful smile builds confidence and brings many health benefits. For a whole lifetime.

Children and teenagers are in particularly good hands at our practice. We accompany every stage of dental development with great experience, empathy and the right treatment method. Our practice is within walking distance of many secondary schools in Erding, so appointments fit easily into the school day.

The right time

Has your dentist noticed a crossbite, a pronounced overbite or excessive growth of the lower jaw in your child? Then a visit to the orthodontist is worthwhile as early as kindergarten age. The regular treatment period is between the ages of 9 and 14, when the change of teeth is largely complete and growth can still be used.

We look forward to accompanying your child professionally and competently through this important phase.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know

When should my child first see an orthodontist?

At the latest with the change of teeth around the age of 9. With noticeable misalignments such as a crossbite or pronounced overbite, kindergarten age is a good time.

Does health insurance cover my child's braces?

German statutory health insurance covers treatment for medically necessary misalignments from a certain degree of severity (KIG 3 to 5). We check this in the initial consultation and advise you on all options.

Does my child need a referral?

No, you can book an initial consultation with us directly. A note from your dentist is helpful but not required.
